An Online Retailer gets a Sleek Store at Westfield Mall
Izzy Bijoux, an online retailer of fashion jewelry, approached Abramson Architects to design their first physical store located at the Westfield Culver City Mall. The client wanted the ease of finding items in an online store to be translated into the new space, providing an enjoyable customer experience.
The focal point of the store design is the integrated slat wall and ceiling. This L-shaped structure bridges the gap from building shell to merchandise and provides an all-in shopping experience where the merchandise becomes part of the space. Jewelry is also showcased in a modern lighted wall system as well as on simple white pedestals that run through the center of the store.
