A Reflection of Design Excellence
Abramson Architects was honored to have the opportunity to design the Santa Monica showroom of undoubtedly one of the most iconic design brands in history – Knoll Inc. The objective was to reflect the Knoll tradition of design excellence; a combination of solid research and innovative thinking.
The space features a mixture of exposed and suspended gyp board ceilings. An architectural skylight runs the length of the showroom, paralleled with bright green carpet. These pops of color are seen throughout the showroom, maintaining balance with a white and grey color palette. A sculpture accents views of the ocean.
Weaving the Knoll branding throughout, the reception is accented with a super graphic logo and the entry at street level features a wall painted with Knoll Orange. Knoll furniture is displayed as works of art on the wall.
