Digital magazine Healthcare Design featured our Cedar-Sinai Urgent Care & OB-GYN clinic in Los Feliz in an October 31st photo tour. The article talks about our successful attempt to blend the locality of the Los Feliz community into the modern clinic's design.
On Thursday, October 20, 2022, Trevor Abramson was a guest speaker for AIA's Conference of Design. Trevor introduced the conference to the Platform, where he spoke to the locations function as a cohabitation space for the Culver community. The lecture focused on the many typologies of the building; influenced by the rich history of the area, and the comprehensive plan put into place for the zone and use changes of the building.
On October 6, 2022, Björn Schrader was brought on to a Healthcare West discussion panel to discuss how architecture and interior design play a role in enhancing the healthcare patient experience. Joining Bjorn on the panel was Cedar Sinai colleague Sing Sing Lee, who has worked with Björn on, among other projects, the recently completed Urgent Care and OB-GYN clinic in Los Feliz.

On October 7, 2020, Sasha Monge and Guelsah Kuecuek Cavdarli represented Abramson Architects during the AWA+D's Virtual Celebration of efforts towards gender diversity. The discussions centered around the results of the first five years of the challenge as well as strategies to ignite a wider network and implement the 50:50 framework of "Talent, Licensure, Leadership, and Re-Entry".
In preparation for the AIA Conference on Architecture National Conference 2020, Guelsah Kuecuek Cavdarli and Christy Wolfe participated as members of the A'20 Tours Task Force. The members helped to create expertly-curated tours of iconic LA architecture.
"Cat Cube: A Meowdular Design" was featured in the 2019 fundraiser for FixNation and Architects for Animals. The modular geometric system is a truly sculptural form, built by combining several linoleum cubes with simple magnets. Exhibited on September 5th prior to being actioned for charity.
Sasha Monge and Guelsah Kuecuek Cavdarli participated as Committee Members in support of the 6th Annual Powerful Conference on September 16th. Abramson Architects was a sponsor of the sold out event.
In 2019, Trevor Abramson participated as a member of the 3-Person Residential Jury for the annual design awards. He was joined by Mandi Roberts of Konig Eizenberg and Takashi Yanai of Ehrlich Yanai Rhee Chaney Architects.
On June 19, 2019, Trevor Abramson participated in a panel discussion which connected over a hundred-fifty attendees including experts in the field of design, advocacy, community engagement, wellness, and urban planning to discuss both short and long term strategies for creating a more accessible and interconnected city.

As President of the AIA LA, Douglas Teiger spoke at the second annual conference which focuses on solutions to address homelessness, housing affordability, and healthy neighborhoods in Los Angeles.
Douglas Teiger served as a keynote speaker, discussing spiritual psychology in architecture and designing for the human experience.
Douglas Teiger served alongside Stephanie Wagner and Timothy Smallwood as jury members for the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Society for Design Administration
Douglas Teiger moderated a selection of LA Based architects that were invited to take part in a discussion of 'on the boards' projects from across the region.
Trevor Abramson served as a moderator on the topic Leasing Trends Outlook. This yearly national convention is open to the public and features various panels of retail executives and development and design professionals.

This presentation, in conjunction with the AIA continuing education program, addressed the design of the First Presbyterian Church and how its architectural transformation heightened the spiritual level of the space and changed the congregation.

This four-week exhibit was part of the annual Westweek design exposition, when the Los Angeles Design Center opens its doors to the public in order to foster community awareness for the architecture and interior design fields.
