Rustic Simplicity
The third home in the Venice Modern Homes collection, Farmhouse Modern, merges the warmth of traditional agrarian architecture with a distinctly modern sensibility. Located at 925 Marco Place (Lot 22), the home reinterprets classic farmhouse elements—exposed wood beams, vertical siding, and a gabled roof—through a contemporary lens. Soft, natural textures and clean lines create a timeless yet fresh aesthetic, balancing rustic charm with refined simplicity.

Designed and built in parallel with its neighbors, Farmhouse Modern seamlessly complements Historic Modern and Scandifornia Modern, completing the Venice Modern Homes vision. Before its construction, Lot 22 and Lot 23 were partially occupied by a one-story craftsman bungalow. As part of the development, the design team worked closely with local agencies to relocate the bungalow’s front portion to its permanent home on Lot 24, preserving its historical integrity.
Now, Farmhouse Modern stands as a testament to thoughtful, contextual design—one that respects Venice’s architectural past while embracing its future. Together, these three homes form a cohesive yet distinct ensemble, reinforcing the neighborhood’s evolving character while maintaining its sense of place.
