Comprehensive Care: Close to Home
To better serve the “Coastal Communities”, Cedars-Sinai decided to expand their existing 1919 Santa Monica offerings. The newly renovated 1919SMB is the first primary care center in Santa Monica for this rapidly growing health system. It houses hematology and oncology, neurology, cardiology, and ear, nose and throat in sophisticated, yet welcoming environment.

The 1919 Santa Monica Boulevard project included a complete interior renovation of this retail and medical office building. Abramson Architects was responsible for renovations to the first floor, the building lobby, Suite 210 which features Primary Care and X-ray as well as Suite 310 which is home to General Surgery, Surgical Oncology Suites and the Pacific Coast Hernia Center of The Angeles Clinic. The Angeles Clinic and Research Institute’s CEO, Dr. Piro, wanted a space “where patients could receive world-class care, but still feel at ease being near home.”
