Rebecca Covarrubias

Junior Interior Designer
"Design can transform even the smallest detail into something that improves daily life."

Philosophy

Rebecca embraces a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to interior design. Growing up, she was shaped by her Mexican heritage and influenced by watching HGTV shows, both of which fueled her fascination with how small design choices could transform spaces. As she moved across the country, exploring diverse homes and environments, her passion for envisioning ideal spaces flourished. Today, Rebecca's design philosophy is grounded in the belief that even the smallest detail can profoundly impact how people interact with their surroundings, guiding her meticulous approach to every project.

Her work seamlessly blends a passion for branding with a deep appreciation for architectural history, allowing her to create designs that bridge the gap between past and present. She understands that a company’s identity can be deeply intertwined with its historical or cultural context, and she enjoys reflecting this in her designs. Whether capturing nuanced client feedback during site walks or crafting detailed construction documents, Rebecca demonstrates a commitment to excellence and precision, ensuring that her clients feel heard and that their spaces are thoughtfully tailored to their unique needs.

In addition to her design expertise, Rebecca has a rich background in arts education, where she taught K-12 students about local arts, woodworking, and design. This experience deepened her belief in the importance of equity and accessibility in education, fueling her passion for creating opportunities for underfunded communities.
