From a young age, Melinda Cardenas was captivated by design, spending hours imagining and redesigning spaces for fun. Today, her passion drives her career, focusing on creating spaces deeply influenced by the people who use them. She believes their unique experiences and cultures shape functional and vibrant environments.

Melinda’s design philosophy centers on exploration and problem-solving, viewing the process as a puzzle that becomes more exciting as it evolves. She thrives on the challenge of uncovering clarity and cohesion in her designs, crafting beautiful, purposeful spaces. Captivated by how architecture and design blend creativity with technical skill, Melinda is eager to continue exploring this dynamic field here at Abramson Architects.

Outside of work, Melinda enjoys exploring new places and spending time outdoors. A former volleyball player, she loves competitive games with friends and family. As a music enthusiast, she plays piano and learns new songs across various genres.
