For Christian, his desire to be in the creative field began from a young age. His curiosity began with his admiration of the historic homes surrounding his childhood neighborhood. He dreamt up the spaces he wished to create by imagining the rooms within the walls of the nearby homes, flying through in his head looking down with a bird’s eye view. He began his design studies in high school, taking drafting, design, and construction courses before continuing his education and branching into other creative arts.
In college, Christian took interest in many creative mediums, including painting, hand-rendering, graphic design, product design, and branding. His attraction to graphic design and brand identity is deeply connected to his work in interiors by creating not only a beautifully designed space, but a space that is also experiential. Christian is driven by the ideology that a space should trigger an emotional response with the use of materiality, graphic impact, and defined spatial moments.
