Adham el Ghatit

Project Manager

“Space and light and order. Those are the things that people need as much as they need bread or a place to sleep.”

Adham’s love for architecture was apparent early on as a child when he would combine the different Lego sets he owned to make quirky looking structures. This led him on a journey from Egypt to New York City and currently Los Angeles.

He believes that architecture is a deeply rooted human endeavor with the power to affect both the individual and society as a whole. He likes to look at each project as a multi-level problem-solving exercise with the end goal of creating a space that has a positive impact on the end user.

Adham is a registered Architect in the State of New York, where he spent 8 years in New York City at prominent firms like SHoP and Handel Architects working on multiple award-winning projects. He moved to Los Angeles in 2017 where he worked at Marmol Radziner for a little over a year before joining Abramson Architects

  • M.S. Advanced Architectural Design – Columbia University, New York
  • BArch – AAST, Alexandria Egypt

  • Columbia University GSAPP Alumni Mentor 2016-2018
  • Worked on AIA Award winning projects including Barclays Center in New York and Grace Farms in Connecticut

A seasoned scuba diver since the age of 13, Adham takes a trip every year to explore a different beach around the world. As much as he enjoys exploring life underwater he also likes to observe the way the beach and water interacts with the context next to it.
